One weekend in November, a bunch of us hopped in a car and drove down to Komatsu, Ishikawa to visit Nata-dera, a buddhist temple known for it’s situation in and between rock faces. The temple was a spacious one that would take even a speed walker about 25 minutes to explore. Apart from the usual temple structures, Nata-dera featured a lovely pond, a beautiful forest, and meditation caves that were carved into the cliffside.
